Hey guys. Project Nehemiah is under way. A little background history:
Jim and I went to Climbing Higher. Steve Carter was the speaker. The Spirit touched our hearts through his talks of kids changing the world. Laura and I were at work one day. We decided to help a country. Guatemala has 6,000+ "street kids." They get beat to death. They are in sex and drug trafficking. They need help. They need God. They do not belong on the street with AIDS and STD's. They belong in His kingdom. They were made to love. Not made to die without ever loving. So we had this idea to build a youth center that will feed and minister to those kids. We want to love like Jesus loves... huge, selfless, awesome, and seemingly impossible. That's where Nehemiah comes in. Our conformation for this project was Nehemiah 6:15-16. Come to our benefit concert for the whole story and how we (meaning you, me, your grandma, whoever has a heart big enough to change the world), and to raise money for a great cause. Here's the flyer.
